Back to School Family Picnic and Concert

Thursday, September 29th at 5:30p.m.

Join Great Falls at our Back to School Family Picnic and Concert! This is a bring your own picnic dinner event and will be held in the back of the school. If it rains, we will reschedule for a future evening.

Our family picnics are a great time to say hello to friends while meeting new ones! There will also be special Code of Conduct characters joining in the fun! 

This picnic will be extra special because Lincoln Gray, Mrs. Mosey's son and singer/songwriter of our One and Only Ivan Song, will be performing live music!

Fresh Friday

As a way to encourage eating fresh fruits and vegetables at Great Falls we have Fresh Friday. Please encourage your child to try fresh fruits and vegetables as a part of a healthy diet and bring one for snack on Friday. 

Our butterfly hatched! Thank you Sawyer!

Thanks to our friend Sawyer, we were able to see a Monarch caterpillar eat its way through milkweed leaves, then create a chrysalis and finally turn into a beautiful Monarch butterfly! As part of our Kindergarten Science Standards, students should be able to explain a life cycle. We were able to witness one first hand. Our Monarch friend will be released into the Great Falls garden Friday morning!

First day! 2016

So excited for this school year! Mrs. Lyons' class explored pattern blocks and created interesting shapes, pictures and objects. We are quickly becoming friends and are eager to learn! Looking forward to watching my "cubs" learn and grow! Hip Hip Hooray, we are all in K!
